About Me
I am Providence Baker but my friends call me Provi, a dedicated musician and educator with a passion for nurturing the musical talents of young minds. My journey in music has been enriched with experiences in playing the cello and vocal performances.
Unveiling the World of Cello
Embark on a musical journey with me as I share my experiences in playing the cello. I proudly spent 3 years in the award-winning Chamber Orchestra at Temecula Conservatory of Music. Our orchestra not only scored superior in competitions but was also honored with the "Best Overall" recognition at events like Music in the Park at Magic Mountain and Knott's Berry Farm.
Nurturing Harmony Beyond the Stage
I've dedicated my talents to fundraising events around the Southwest Inland Empire, and my role as a cellist for Serhi Rybak's soundtrack was a truly enriching experience. As a mentor at the Temecula Conservatory of Music under the guidance of the esteemed Bernard Jones, I've had the privilege of guiding and inspiring young musicians.
Harmony of the Heart
Join me in the journey of vocal artistry. I have been one of the primary vocalists at Cornerstone Church in Hemet for 4 years, enjoying being a part of the outstanding worship team. Skilled teachers like Kathy Peterson, Danelle Pagan, and Ukrainian Anna Kindzerska have been beneficial for me because of their experience, talent and wisdom. Training at Pensacola Christian College, including being elected as a lone soloist for the ending performance, was valuable and an honor. Collaborations with artists like Ben Everson, Phil Wickam, and Cody Fry are experiences that I am grateful for.
